2. Type of platform

Nearvanta is a matching platform. Companies from the DACH region can submit a request for a service team; service providers can apply to be vetted. In addition, Nearvanta offers a library of documents for download.

Using the website does not require a user account. Nearvanta does not sell any products online and does not process online payments.

3. Purpose of data processing

Personal data is processed exclusively for:

• Handling requests and matching companies with suitable service providers
• Providing library documents for download
• Sending the newsletter, if you have expressly consented to it
• Technical provision and security of the platform

4. Legal bases

• Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures and contract performance)
• Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent, e.g. newsletter)
• Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest)

Legitimate interest includes in particular the secure operation of the platform, protection against misuse and responding to business enquiries.

5. Processed data

• Requests: e-mail address, company name and the details you provide about your needs (e.g. team size, languages, channels, start date).
• Downloads: first name, e-mail address, company, your role (client, provider, other) and whether you would like to receive the newsletter.
• Newsletter and waiting list: e-mail address and, where applicable, the document you are interested in.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type and device data, time of access – processed by our hosting provider to deliver the website.

6. Downloads

After entering your details you receive a personal download link. The link is valid for 24 hours. We record which document was requested so that we can follow up on your enquiry if necessary.

7. Cookies

Nearvanta does not use cookies for advertising or tracking. Only technically necessary storage may be used to operate the website.

8. Data disclosure

Data is disclosed only to:

• Hosting and IT service providers who operate the platform on our behalf
• Service providers in Kosovo, Albania or North Macedonia, if this is necessary to process your request and you have been informed of this beforehand

Disclosure for advertising purposes does not occur without explicit consent.

9. Storage duration

• Request and download data: as long as necessary for processing and any resulting business relationship
• Newsletter: until you withdraw your consent
• Technical data: according to legal retention periods

10. Data security

Nearvanta uses appropriate technical and organisational measures:

• SSL/HTTPS encryption
• Access restrictions
• Secure server infrastructure
• Documents are only provided via time-limited links

11. International data transfer

The controller is based in the Republic of Kosovo. If data is processed outside the EU, this is done on the basis of:

• Appropriate safeguards
• Standard contractual clauses (SCC)
• Comparable protective measures

12. Rights of data subjects

You have the right to:

• Information
• Rectification
• Erasure
• Restriction of processing
• Objection
• Withdrawal of consent given, with effect for the future
